Welcome to Journior! These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application ("App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. User Conduct

• No Harassment: Users are prohibited from harassing or bullying other users within the App. This includes but is not limited to sending threatening, abusive, or harassing messages.

• No Adult Content: Users must not create or share adult content within the App. This includes explicit images, videos, or text of a sexual nature.

• No Discrimination: Discrimination based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic is strictly prohibited. Hate speech directed towards individuals or groups is not tolerated.

• No Abusement: Users must not engage in any activity aimed at abusing, manipulating, or exploiting other users for personal gain or amusement.

• Accuracy and Integrity: Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the content they share within the App. Misinformation, fake news, or content intended to deceive or manipulate users is strictly prohibited.

• Respect Copyright: Users must respect copyright laws and only share content for which they have the necessary rights or permissions. Plagiarism or unauthorized use of copyrighted material is not permitted.

• Ethical Journalism: Users who identify as journalists must adhere to ethical standards and principles of journalism, including objectivity, fairness, and respect for diverse perspectives.

3. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts that violate these Terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to other users, the App, or its community. We may also remove or restrict access to content that violates these Terms or is otherwise deemed inappropriate.

4. Disclaimer of Liability

While we strive to provide a safe and secure environment for our users, we cannot guarantee the conduct of other users or the accuracy of the content shared within the App. Users acknowledge and accept any risks associated with using the App and interacting with other users.

5. Amendments to Terms

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Users will be notified of any material changes to these Terms. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

• Ownership of Content: Users retain ownership of any content they create or share within the App, including but not limited to articles, videos, images, and comments ("User Content"). However, by uploading or sharing User Content on the App, users grant Journior a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display the User Content for the purposes of operating, promoting, and improving the App.

• Respect for Intellectual Property: Users must respect the intellectual property rights of others. This includes refraining from uploading or sharing content that infringes upon the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of third parties. Users are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions or licenses before sharing content that they do not own.

• Reporting Copyright Infringement: Journior respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. If you believe that your copyright or other intellectual property rights have been infringed upon by a user of the App, please contact us at [email protected] with a detailed description of the alleged infringement, including the specific content in question and evidence of your ownership rights.

• Removal of Infringing Content: Upon receiving a valid copyright infringement notice, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and take appropriate action against the user responsible for the infringement, including account suspension or termination.

7. User Responsibilities

• Content Ownership and Permissions: By uploading or sharing User Content within the App, users represent and warrant that they have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use, reproduce, and distribute the content as described in these Terms. Users are solely responsible for obtaining any required permissions or licenses for content they upload or share.

8. Disclaimer of Endorsement

Journior does not endorse, support, or guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of any User Content shared within the App. Users are solely responsible for evaluating the credibility and reliability of the content they view or interact with on the App.
